FrozenCrate recognizes the importance of your privacy, so we've developed a privacy policy that covers how we collect, use, disclose, and store your personal information.

Personal information is data that can be used to identify you as an individual.

You may be asked to provide some personal information anytime you are in contact with FrozenCrate. We may combine it with other information to provide and improve our products, content, support, and advertising. We receive your personal information directly from you. We may also receive some personal information from third parties, in the event they have your personal information and can share it with us as governed by their privacy policy.

We also collect data in a form that does not, on its own, permit direct association with any specific individual. We may collect, use, transfer, and disclose non-personal information for any purpose.

What non-personal information we collect

We do not collect any information, personal or non-personal, through our applications. However, we may collect information you provide through contacting support, such as device hardware model, operating system version, and system configuration.

We collect information such as language, referrer URL, browser version, Internet Protocol (IP) address, and the time and date of accesses to our website. This is stored on our webserver in the form of access logs and does not use cookies.

If we do combine non-personal information with personal information, the combined information will be treated as personal information for as long as it remains combined.

How we use non-personal information

We use non-personal information to provide resolutions to your questions and support requests, better understand customer behavior, and improve our products and advertising.

Non-personal information comes from our webservers, and from non-personal data you may provide in contacting us.

FrozenCrate does not sell personal information, and personal information will never be shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.

In extraordinary circumstances, FrozenCrate may be required by law, legal process, litigation, or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence, to disclose your personal information. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary or appropriate. Additionally, in the event of a reorganization, merger, or sale we may transfer any and all personal information we collect to the relevant third party.

FrozenCrate's websites and products may contain links to third-party websites, products, and services. Furthermore, our products may use or be tightly coupled with third-party products or services. For example, a FrozenCrate product may run on Apple's macOS operating system, and thus runs under the governance of Apple's privacy policies in addition to this one.

Information collected by third parties, which may include such things as location data or contact details, is governed by their privacy practices. We encourage you to learn about the privacy practices of those third parties.

Our payment service service provider is Paddle (Privacy). Some of our products are available through Steam (Privacy) and Apple's AppStore (Privacy). Our web services are hosted on Linode (Privacy), our email service provider is MXRoute (Privacy), and our newsletter is handled through MailerLite (Privacy).
